Together we deliver world-leading research and inspirational teaching for tomorrow’s scientists, doctors, nurses, midwives, physiotherapists, sport rehabilitators and vets.
Overall we have around 5300 undergraduates and 900 postgraduate taught students in the faculty. Our courses are renowned for their prestige, standard of teaching, international flavour, and employability of graduates.
Our research integrates basic science, translational research and applied clinical activity, with a focus on making a real-life impact on our patients and the public. We currently supervise about 800 postgraduate research students and our research funding totals more than £170 million.
